Hey there!

I'm Mansa Sabaghian

I am an interdisciplinary artist, designer and conceptual thinker based in Germany. My practice spans visual art, design, moving image and writing, exploring questions of perception, memory, identity, space and lived experience.
For me, art is a way of questioning, while design is a way of shaping possible responses. I am interested in the relationship between the individual and something larger, whether social, cultural, spatial or perceptual.
I work across sculpture, drawing, painting, film, public art, design and writing, choosing the medium according to the idea I want to explore. My experience in teaching, together with my engagement with mindfulness and reflective practices, has further shaped the way I think about attention, human experience and meaning.
